I am Larry's Vulnerable Stomach

Today's Workout:
 - 4 mile trek
 - 30 mins workout

Today, I start my planned workout with some coaxing, but pretty much as planned. I recently started taking some vitamins, and today my stomach rejected them. About 3 or 4 times Larry (long term nickname for my stomach. He's gurgles and chatters a lot, so years ago it seemed fitting to name my talkative stomach.) decided to do back-flips in my body. This was probably fun for him, but terrible for the rest of me.

Or maybe not so terrible for the rest of me. While Larry was responding to either the vitamins or the pizza from yesterday, I got finish season 5 of Game of Thrones. No spoilers here, but like everyone else is saying, a lot happened that was not in the books. (And yes I read them all before it was cool. Steph Maule = Hipster). That George RR Martin better start publishing quicker or there will be no reason to purchase and read them when season 6 comes out.

Eventually, Larry quieted down, and I was ready to go on my 4 mile trek around 1:30. Surprisingly enough, I was able to run the entire first mile without stopping. I was expecting all those French cigarettes to clog my lungs more than they did. (Just kidding Mom, I didn't smoke cigarettes in France.) From there I continued to run / walk the remaining distance, probably totaling 2.5 miles ran of the 4 mile trek.
(Also take that Michael Scott)

Along the way, I got to test my speed thanks to the police radar stand along the road. The world record speed I recorded had nothing to do with the vehicles driving the by and had everything to do with my amazing athleticism. Take that, Usain Bolt!

As impressive as it is not, that I started excising again, I have a truly impressive friend who is starting chemo today. My thoughts are with this person today, and if you could also pray or send positive thoughts their way, that would be awesome. I've enjoyed getting to know this friend, and their positive attitude throughout the entire experience is inspiring.

Tomorrow's goal:
 - 3 mile journey
 - 45 of yoga (groan)
